Hotel Plantage - Digital Access

The street entry and around the door to the unit was less than desirable, garbage on street. The digital key and not having any person to see or check in with was a little hard when u r not tech savvy. But, once we got inside and into the unit all was good. They also all allowed us to drop off our luggage before we got into the unit. The unit was easy to get to and around to site see, with the tram stopping right at our place. I would recommend it.

The location was definitely a plus — very close to the train, which made getting around convenient. However, the property itself felt a bit outdated and could use some updating. The stairs were also a bit inconvenient, especially when carrying luggage. Overall, the proximity to transportation was great, but the accommodations didn’t quite meet my expectations.

We had very comfortable sleep. Everything was clean. The bathroom was marbled floored and was very easy to slip and thought it was ver dangerous. No complimentries for the bathroom and basics for the room. We found except for the cleaning staff that everything was remote and not on site. More of a room rental rather than a hotel.

Just back from 3 nights at the Plantage. We stayed in room 15, our friends were in 22 and room 34 in the attic. Excellent stay, 15 minutes walk from Red Light district, Rembrandtplein and 20 minutes walk from Central Station. The Number 9 tram can take you to Dam Square in 5 minutes from just around the corner. The receptionist/ Manager very welcoming on arrival explained all that was close by for food beer and cigarettes. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and bedding clean. Clean towels on arrival and a good sized bathroom. Excellent stay and we will be going back. We had the front door key and could come and go as we pleased. Thank you.
