Summary:
Located within walking distance to the Canyon Lodge and the Village Gondola, the Chamonix Retreat is perfect for family and friends looking for an adventurous getaway.
The Space:
A 20 min drive takes you to Convict Lake, where you can rent a boat or fish out on the clear water. The spacious 3 story condo offers a chic farmhouse inspired kitchen and cozy mountain decor throughout.
The living room is furnished with comfortable seating gathered around a flat screen TV and gas fireplace. From here, you can access the balcony to breathe in the fresh mountain air!
The kitchen is steps away and features a wide farmhouse style sink, drip coffee maker, blender, toaster, rice cooker, and more. Enjoy homemade meals and gather around the dining table to exchange stories about your day. A shared bathroom is also on the ground floor.
There are 2 bedrooms downstairs. Both bedrooms have a Queen bed, TV, and their own en suite bathroom. Upstairs on the 3rd floor is the loft with 2 Twin over Full bunk beds, great for the kids!
Chamonix has several amenities to check out during your vacation. There are 2 unassigned parking space, a club house with a pool table, a fire pit, sauna, and hot tub. The pool and BBQ stations are only open during the summer. Some of these amenities may not be available due to COVID.

One key for the Pool/Recreation center is hanging on the the key hook. Please replace prior to departure. $75 replacement fee will be accrued to you if key is lost. We do not manage equipment in shared areas and therefore cannot provide replacements or repairs.
Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in arranging.
Other Things to Note:
This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.

For Digital thermostat, it may take at least 5mins to feel the desired temperature. press up or down arrow to adjust the temp.
We do not manage equipment in shared areas and cannot provide replacement/repairs.

Great location, waking distance to canyon lodge but I could not get ahold of the property manager through phone or email to get a missing key to the pool and recreation area. We were unable to use the hot tub which was a huge disappointment.

all is good. Only criticism is that the kitchen is small no more than one person can be in there. But the place is nice and great location

Location to Mammoth mountain is excellent. Property is quite old and outdated. Internet and TV not reliable. Cleanliness was sub par. Parking easy and checking in not a problem.
