This three bedroom two and a half bathroom single family home is located at the mouth of Marblehead Harbor with ocean and lighthouse views that must be seen to be appreciated.
The home is equipped with two decks overlooking the ocean, and a sun porch. Each bedroom has flat screen TV's, while one contains a king size bed and futon, a queen in bedroom 2, and two full beds in bedroom 3 for a total of 5 sleeping spaces.
The neck, where this gorgeous home is located, is Marblehead's most coveted area surrounded by water and a quintessential New England lighthouse.
There is a spacious open layout and a dining room, which seats 10. Most rooms have ocean views! Queen bed in bedroom 1, King bed and futon in bedroom 2, two full beds in the bedroom 3. Flat screen TV's in all bedrooms. Large living room with two couches and TV over fireplace (non working fireplace). Breakfast nook in kitchen. Incredible place to live or work from home. Amazing location. Right on the harbor with great views of boats and the lighthouse. The beds were comfortable. The living room could benefit from better lighting. The back porch would have been the place to spend most of your time but there was not comfortable seating out there. Not much is walkable from the house, trips into downtown Marblehead require a short drive.

We stayed 2 nights in a vacation house that had adequate beds and roooms for the 6 of us. The house was located in a wonderful location. We found the nightly rate reasonable but the total cost was inflated by the cost of housekeeping (higher than for other properties in the same area). Though the interiors were clean, bags of trash from previous occupants greeted us as we climb the stairs to the front entrance. The host management apologized that they missed trash collection. Typically, providing a second or third trash can with lid would have prevented the bags or trash from spilling out of bags and smelling up the entryway. Trash can planning and trash management were problems that can be easily fixed. These were not addressed while we were in residence. Except for the one trash can in the kitchen with a plastic liner, the two trash cans in the toilets has no plastic liners. We were each provided with one bath towel and one hand towel. We did not have a change of towels like hotels would have provided.

This home was fantastic! The living space is big and includes a table that can easily accommodate 10 people. The large glass enclosed porch with separate heating and cooling looks out on a lovely lighthouse park with a view across Marblehead Harbor to Marblehead township. There is also an upstairs outside deck off the main bedroom. Strolling the Marblehead Neck was pure pleasure - including the central wildlife refuge. The views are stunningly beautiful. Three nice bedrooms with comfortable beds. A well-appointed kitchen had everything we needed to cook and entertain local family members. The home was spotless. The host was quick to respond and provided all the information we needed for an easy and smooth arrival and departure. Will look forward to returning with our children and grandchildren. Wonderful spot. Can not recommend more highly.

We used this lovely home as our hub to explore nearby Salem and really enjoyed the house!We were 3 couples, and had plenty of space to spread out and spend time together. The scenery here just simply can't be beat, and we all wished we could have stayed longer to appreciate the island and the home more.
