Kings Barn - English Countryside Retreat

Stunning location and very peaceful

Really enjoyed the stay, the place was clean and the owner was really nice and responded to everything all the time.

The walls of the bedrooms are very thin, and you can even see light going through from the other bedroom.

Perfect venue for our reunion (11 adults - age 30 to 60, and one toddler). Really great sized fridge & freezer along with good working cooker, dish washer, washing machine, hot tub and swing. Russell (owner) answered all my numerous questions so we could have do some serious cooking!

Few little bits were tired or broken which the owners are fixing as I write. Master bedroom the bed is a bit short so your feet will dangle off the end if you’re tall! Oak table seats 8 and there are no table mats or table cloths.There is an additional little table that can be used to bring the number to 12 but we purchased a decent folding table instead and some cheap table cloths from eBay to make a good ‘upmarket looking’ T-shape. Would have benefitted from an inventory list that you could access once booked rather than keep pester by the owners.

The house was lovely and the surroundings were great. It was very clean and the hot tub was great too!
