The location is fantastic – the beach is literally just across the road, while the Old Town, the harbour, Forville Market and the centre of Cannes are all within an easy and pleasant walking distance. We could spend the morning on the beach, stroll around Cannes in the afternoon and go out for dinner in the evening without having to think about transport. And the terrace is the real star of the apartment – huge, wonderful and with a beautiful sea view. We loved it so much that we practically spent our holiday there: morning coffee, relaxing after the beach, an evening drink… it was difficult to convince ourselves to go inside! 😊 It is obvious that the owner has put a lot of thought into making the apartment comfortable for a longer stay. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and everything worked perfectly. There is a washing machine, plenty of hot water, excellent air conditioning, a large Smart TV with YouTube and a comfortable living room. We even loved the hose on the terrace – during the hot August days it turned out to be a little luxury for cooling down as well as watering the plants.

The only part of the apartment that didn't quite win us over was the bedroom. 😊 It is small but otherwise thoughtfully organised, with a good wardrobe and everything you need; however, it has no external window and there was a strong damp/musty smell coming through the ventilation from the rear part of the building. As a result, the lovely living room acquired one more function – it became our bedroom for the entire stay. A few useful tips for future guests: the shower cubicle is surprisingly narrow considering how large the bathroom is. The beach umbrellas and other beach equipment are hidden in a cupboard on the terrace – find them before buying new ones, as we did! 😊 If you are arriving with heavy luggage, ask in advance for directions to the entrance on the Old Town side, which provides much easier access to the apartment by lift. And if you are leaving very early in the morning, make sure to ask beforehand where the keys should be returned.

- Situation exceptionnelle à double entrée (rue Clémenceau et bd J. Ibert) avec belle vue sur la mer, mais un peu en retrait de la rue = bruits de la circulation et des restos en dessous atténués. - Petit appartement parfait pour 2-3 personnes, situé au RDC, avec grande terrasse ombragée (store) et végétalisée (un beau citronnier) où on peut manger, se faire bronzer, mettre les affaires de plage à sécher; - Très bien agencé et confortable, où rien ne manque (cuisine très bien équipée, lave-vaisselle et lave-linge, affaires de plage, etc...); - Malgré la chaleur et la grande baie vitrée, l'appartement reste à température correcte, nous n'avons pas allumé la clim une seule fois; - Situé au pied du quartier du Suquet et à 10 minutes à pied du port / palais du Festival / Croisette et de tous les commerces (marché Forville, supermarchés).

- chambre sans fenêtre mais ce n'est pas grave, on passe son temps dehors :); - prix un peu élevé mais justifié par la situation exceptionnelle et la saison.
