Ambiance and location (quiet and away from the city but reachable by car or bike)
We were there on a busy weekend which meant we had to wait for a few things (room cleaning / breakfast) but nothing particularly bad

Exceptional service in a beautifully designed hotel
I stayed at Van Oys for one night on a business trip and was extremely impressed. The hotel combines beautiful design with a calm, upscale atmosphere. The room was very comfortable, the spa was excellent, and the overall level of service truly stood out. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional, making the stay effortless from start to finish. Even for a short stay, everything was perfectly taken care of. Highly recommended.

Relaxing retreat
Beautiful hotel and location, the atmosphere is calming, the perfect wellness retreat. The staff was very friendly and we even got a nice tour of the newly opened spa facilities.

This is a prime luxury hotel in a renovated castle setting. Extremely well trained staff, clean, cozy, great breakfast. We've been here three or four times now and we will definitely be back again.

Amazing property and staff
This property is newly renovated and it was beautifully designed. The room had very thoughtful and comfortable features. The staff was lovely, warm, and welcoming, and not at all stuffy which can sometimes be an issue at properties of this caliber. We traveled with two young children and they were welcomed with great care. The little treats and gifts they left for us and our kids were so kind. The included breakfast was divine — wonderful variety and exceedingly delicious. All in all we couldn’t have asked for a better first stay and look forward to returning!
Still a bit under construction as of Dec 2025, so it will be lovely when everything is fully up and running.

We came here the first time for our wedding night. Booked several times since. Staff are wonderful, service oriented and friendly. Greta breakfast and very relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel.
A bit disappointed that the gym is not yet available.
