The location is the best! You get you’re own private valley! It’s a bit far from the beaches, but it’s closer to the mountain villages! Other than a passing car once every 2 hours, you have a valley totally for yourselves! Only you and complete peace and quiet! And beautiful views of the surrounding hills, the sea and Tenerife on the horizon! Especially at night when the lights of Tenerife shine with the many stars above, in the complete darkness.

It’s at least a 1 hour drive from any other point of interest, and it’s 10 degrees colder than the beach below! We were at New Years and it got to 9 degrees Celsius at night! The house is a bit old and the furniture and doors and windows and linen are too! Can get very cold and hard to close doors and windows and only 2 electric heaters which are good to warm the bedroom when it’s completely closed and they stay on all the time, but not so effective in the rest of the house. Unless you sit right in front of the heater. The blankets a bit old and without a cover, so need to improvise one from a bed sheet, and perhaps the worst is the water pressure in the bathroom which is non existing! Better to fill a bucket and shower with that! For some all this might make the place not recommended, but if you want to be alone and in complete peace, its worth it!
