We really like staying on Hershey Beach road because of the home, north location and closeness to beach. The home was in very good shape and the layout worked very well for our family that needed separate rooms for an exchange student that was traveling with us.
The home was very well stocked. The utilities were fully functioning and made living their comfortable (heat and hot water both worked effectively). Also, kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked.
Electronics were functional. Internet was provided but we didn't use because the wifi info was in the guest book that we never found. Instead, we used a travel router plugged into their Xfinity router that allows us to create our own wifi network.
We had the option to contact the host re: the guest book & wifi but we didn't need it because of our own equipment.
All-in-all, I would definitely look to stay at this property again. We've stayed in Galveston roughly 5 times in as many years and we'd consider this property a favorite when we are not having to share the trip with another family.
