Kropak Canggu

Beautiful and peaceful. Really surprising to find this full jungle vibe in Canggu. You really can’t tell you’re in the middle of quite a busy area. There is a little river that runs through it and my bungalow was right beside it; the sound of running water was very relaxing. The bungalows are absolutely massive and have a nice daybed outside. Also a huge outdoor bathroom which I absolutely love. The pool is very big and quiet with sunbeds and lounges. I was there by myself most of the time. The staff were great; I could order drinks and food by the pool, or to my room using WhatsApp. The food and drinks were decent.

I did have some issues filling the bath; and the water pressure for the shower was non existent. The shower head doesn’t extend far enough over the bathtub, and only let out a trickle of water. I only stayed for two nights, but if I had longer stay it’s definitely something that would have annoyed me and I would have bought it up. It is pretty out of the way, and there isn’t much around in terms of restaurants, cafes and spas etc. I was content to eat and stay at the hotel; but if you want to be able to get out and about, there isn’t much in walking distance.

The entire compound is amazing. The rooms are spacious and clean. The walls are very thin though you can easily hear the neighbouring people. The pool is amazing and so is the food. The staff is friendly and helpful

Wir waren 7 Tage hier Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr schöne Anlage umgeben von Bäumen, Pflanzen und Blumen. Toller Pool. Leckere Säfte und Cocktails.

Das Frühstück war immer kalt und auch nicht wirklich lecker. Porridge mit Früchten wäre z.B. toll. Das Essen grundsätzlich war nicht gut. Wir haben es immer wieder ausprobiert auch als Lunch und sind dann immer auswärts essen gegangen. Die schlechteste Massage die ich je bekommen habe….die ist überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen. Es werden immer Masseurinnen für den Spa bestellt, also kein festes Personal. Der Pool war für 1,5 Tage gesperrt und als Stromausfall war wurden wir nur darüber informiert. Kerzen etc. wären schön gewesen.
