The owner met us on site, showed us in and all was fine. She suggested where we could go for dinner. She was very helpful indeed. The place was clean and tidy. Very happy with it all.

The living room furniture! But that's just a matter of taste. Everything else was really great and we'd certainly stay there again. It was a good place to stay for a night.

The kitchen was better equipped than any other vacation rental where I have stayed. The refrigerator is American-size (i.e., huge) and there are ample utensils, glassware, dishware, etc for more guests than the apartment could handle. There are even two corkscrews, and two coffee makers, one of which is the more traditional drip kind, which is our strong preference. The washing machine is capable of drying clothes too, which is more convenient than having to use the drying rack, which is provided as well. The location is quiet, with assigned parking inside the courtyard of a former convent, and very convenient to the Diderot Museum. The landlady arranges to meet the guest in person to hand over the keys and show guests how to get into the building, where to find everything in the apartment, how things work, etc, so synchronizing the arrival time with her is important. Guests with heavy baggage will appreciate the modern elevator, retrofitted to the old building. We wish there were more of those.
