We stayed in the apartment for 8 nights in early April as a family of four. Communication with the agency was excellent, and we were greeted on-site by a staff member. Everything went completely smoothly.
When we arrived, our first challenge was figuring out how to store luggage for four people in the apartment. The space is used very efficiently, but it’s tight for additional items like suitcases and clothes. After some trial we found a solution.
The kitchenette is very small and doesn’t offer much of a countertop. But even here, a little improvisation goes a long way, and it actually worked out pretty well. As a family, though, everyone has to be considerate of one another; otherwise, it gets a bit cramped.
There are several supermarkets, bakeries, and cafés in the immediate vicinity. The Subway is perfectly located, but you can also walk quickly to Chinatown and SOHO.
We really enjoyed doing that, as it gives a very authentic feel to this part of Manhattans Lower Eastside.
The apartment is equipped with a large flat-screen TV in one of the bedrooms. The internet connection is excellent.
The bathroom is small but functional. There isn’t enough counter space for multiple toiletries bags.
The agency responded very quickly to our inquiry and was very helpful. That was impressive.
