Luxury Villa 712 Pearl Valley Golf Estate

Well equipped kitchen for big family get togethers as well as very clean and comfortable.

Lots of construction going on but that won’t last long.

Property was outstanding and beautifully designed. Host Adri was fantastic help. Extremely clean, spacious and excellently laid out. Lovely little back garden and pool, braai area and bonus of the golf buggy. Estate itself is linked to Val di Vie so plenty of dining options between the two areas. Close to several excellent small towns and 30 mins or so to city. Will return and next time for longer!

Flies, alot. I would say this can't be helped as due to heat and vegetation BUT I would strongly suggest a kitchen blue light fly killer is installed. Not the best looking things but they are seriously annoying and frustrating when cooking or eating. Smell of manure, mainly in back garden. Not sure if this is due to gardeners fertilising or construction works close by but it is off putting when trying to use outside. Pool is not the cleanest BUT I feel it is down to wind and vegetation again. Was cleaned throughout our stay and hours later a mess again. And a bug bear of mine, not heated. Why south africa do not heat their pools I will never understand with so much solar options 😀

Very well equipped with each and every amenity you can think of for a second home from home. Beautiful views of the mountains and access to the Pearl Valley Estate. Modern home with aircon all through and solar PV with BESS which made the stay more sustainable. The availability of a golf cart was an unexpected surprise and supplying fire wood and charcoal was very thoughtful!

The property was not cleaned properly. Kitchen and scullery area both had a foul smell. Dustbins were overflowing, but we understand it was because of limited services during holidays. Swimming towels + pool was dirty, underneath beds was a mess, outside patio furniture stained and the braai needs a thorough degreasing. We were immensely put off by the number of flies all around and attempt to place flytraps by the vendor, clearly a while ago, was not acceptable as the smell was unbearable at times.

Pool was dirty, hadn’t been checked. When you pay a substantial amount of money for a weeks accommodation I’d expect more of the little touches to be done right For example no bin liners, no kitchen roll, poor complimentary arrival basket, no call midweek to see how we were doing. Property located next to a busy contractors entrance so woken every morning at 6am
