About this villa rental
The villa "THE VIEW" is a vacation home of the absolute luxury class. The property is located in Somerset West, in the secured Schapenberg Estate on a hillside, is superbly equipped and offers holidaymakers every comfort. The villa has a spacious terrace, which can be shaded if necessary. From the terrace you can enjoy a unique view of False Bay and Table Mountain. Here is also the spacious, self-cleaning pool! The villa was built in 2005 and offers every luxury: on the ground floor there is the impressive foyer with relaxing area, as well as 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. All rooms are very comfortable and modern. On the upper floor there is the master bedroom - equipped with its own, exclusive bathroom - a kitchen, a show kitchen, as well as the dining and living area.
Exclusive equipment: The villa really leaves nothing to be desired, because it not only impresses with its dreamlike architecture, but also with its unique, exclusive and cozy living ambience!

This is the second time we have stayed at this large and very impressive property. Very hi spec and delivers on all fronts.The whole family had a great time.

Das Haus ist wundervoll eingerichtet, liebevoll dekoriert, der Garten mit Pool auf der Dachterrasse sind so einladend, dass man eigentlich gar nicht aus dem Haus gehen möchte !
Die Lage ist spektakulär mit Blick auf die False Bay mit den sensationellen Sonnenuntergängen sowie der unverdauten Blick auf das Kap und den Tafelberg. Wir können das Haus und vor allem die wunderbar liebevollen Vermieter nur empfehlen!
Leider mussten wir vorzeitig abreisen, aufgrund der weltweiten Pandemie ....... aber werden das Haus mit Sicherheit wieder buchen.

Wunderbare Lage, Tolles Haus, super Pool, leider ist es unverständlich das dieses schöne Haus nicht regelmässig Instand gesetzt wird. Leider einige Mängel die wir dem überaus freundlichen und kompetenten Verwalter Herrn Klein gemeldet haben .

Die Sauberkeit des Hauses war absolut ungenügend! Dies fing in der Küche an mit schmutzigem Geschirr, das man vor Gebrauch nochmals selber reinigen musste. Sowohl im Teekocher wie in der Kaffeemaschine befand sich noch abgestandenes Restwasser. Eine Küchenschublade ist voll-gestopft mit Computerzubehör.
Die Fortsetzung fand dann in den Badezimmern statt. Alle Waschtische waren nicht sauber. Von Haaren über Zahnpastareste bis zu alten Seifenstücken war alles zu finden. In einer Dusche waren einzelne Fliesen ausgebrochen.
Obwohl wir das Haus mit 4 Schlafzimmern gebucht hatten, waren nur 3 Zimmer bei Ankunft bezugsfertig. In der Waschmaschine fand man noch gewaschene Bett-Tücher, die wohl noch trocknen sollten etc. .
Alles wurde beim sogenannten Manager vor Ort reklamiert, von diesem aber mit einem Achselzucken abgetan mit dem Kommentar, da müsse man dann wohl mal sehen was man machen könnte.
Das schönste am Haus war die Aussichtslage. Insgesamt könnte man vieles besser machen. Der Unterhalt der Immobilie sowie die Reinigung sind absolut ungenügend.
Im Quervergleich mit anderen bereits in Somerset-West gemieteten Objekten in der gleichen Preisklasse, bleibt als Schlussbewertung leider nur unterdurchschnittlich. Preis / Leistung stimmt hier nicht!
