Villa Corazon

We hebben een fantastische vakantie-break gehad! De urbanisatie heeft een fantastische ligging: rustig maar toch op wandelafstand van het Los Locos- strand (10 minuutjes) en van de super gezellige dijk (15 minuutjes). De casa zelf was netjes gepoetst, Javier gaf ons een warm onthaal. De kostprijs van 95 Euro voor alle poets, bed/bad/strandlinnen is het zeker waard. Villa Corazon is voorzien van alle comfort (vaatwasser/wasmachine,...) en heeft werkelijk prachtige terrassen. Een absolute aanrader, we komen zeker terug!

Aanrader, we hebben een geweldige tijd gehad! We werden warm onthaald door Keyholder Javier en de eenmalige kost van 95 euro voor poets/lakens/handdoeken/strandlakens is het absoluut waard, alles supernetjes en proper. De Casa is voor 4 personen. (Max 6) , er zijn immers 2 slaapkamers en een sofabed in de woonkamer. We hadden prachtig weer en konden “s ochtends ontbijten op het dakterras, in de verte zie je de zee. Op 10 minuutjes wandelen van Los Locosstrand, 15 minuutjes stappen naar dijk met eindeloze gezelligheid: strandbaaien, restaurants, barretjes, haven, bootverhuur, winkeltjes, avondmarkt, wandelstrekdam in de zee. 3 zwembaden in de urbanisatie, deze zijn jammer genoeg enkel in de zomer toegankelijk. Allicante luchthaven 35 minuten. Wie met (huur)auto komt : Gratis parking vlak aan de Casa. Wie houdt van cultuur: Allicante en Cartagena zijn perfect te bezoeken . Wie houdt van natuur: wandeling langs de beroemde roze zoutmeren is een must! De Casa zelf is een oase van rust met ook groot schaduwrijk terras beneden om gezellig te relaxen,. Alle comfort :2 wc, vaatwasser, wasmachine , goede WiFi, … We komen zeker terug!

The communication with Javier was good. Sent clear instructions and photos of where the keys could be collected and returned. Parking was good and property relatively easy to find. Nice outdoor space for eating / sunbathing if we wished. Well equipped kitchen with a few items already in the cupboard which was nice. Main bathroom has been refurbished and is of a decent size.

Bedrooms very small. In the Twin room you needed to move one of the beds to close the door. In the Double Room the Clothes rail meant you had to get into / out of the bed from the bottom, not the side (as can be seen on the picture). No wardrobes in either bedroom, just a clothes rail and chest of drawers. Very small downstairs toilet. Lack of transparency on additional 95 euro charge for bedding / cleaning prior to booking. Fee payable to Booking.com already included a 95 euro Service Charge so why another payment in cash required is unclear. The listing should be amended to say this is a townhouse. The first picture is deceiving - this a picture from elsewhere on the urbanisation and not the view of the front of, or from the property - which is 10 metres down a side alley.
