Beautiful south-facing pool villa on the saltwater canal in Cape Coral

We spent 3 weeks at the property. the property itself is nice and the pool area is really fantastic, however, the house ware left a lot to be desired.The towels available in the house were very old and completely worn out (we bought our own towels to use) and the sheets on the bed were not any better (again we bought new ones) the mattress in the master bedroom was old and not very uncomfortable and long over due for a replacement.The cookware was old and kind of beat up and the cutting boards had been around for a long time, the glassware needs updating as well (lots of mismatched glasses). All these items were technically usable, but they were clearly beyond their time. I expected more for the price we paid.The only other issue we had was that the pool heater only worked intermittently the last couple of days we were there and the property manager (Frank) was very responsive when i contacted him. Overall our stay was very pleasant, location is quiet and its easy to get around the area and I would stay there again. With a minimal investment in a few household items the place would be perfect.

Representative that checked us in was great. Listing was way off. No kayak but is a canoe. No dvd player. No icemaker. Dont know what music library was or plant wall. Couldn’t ride bikes, seats were too hard for us and all tires flat. Did get them filled up though for next person. Pillows flat and uncomfortable bed. Pool deck was dirty and turned feet black and inside of shoes or flip flops. Noisy traffic and sirens close. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. No napkins, no paper towels.
