Nice house, patio and pool/spa

Pool leaked, only a quarter roll of toilet tissue in the entire house on arrival. Manager was very apologetic and offered to reimberse. The house could use a deep cleaning.

The location was great, the pool and spa was probably why we picked this house, the pictures dont do it justice!

When we landed from fort myers airport we still didn’t receive access to the house. We basically drove around for an hour waiting for the host to give us the code to the lockbox..things happen & we completely understand it but traveling with a family of 6 ( 4 of them kids) we just wanted to rest. We should’ve received it 24 hours atleast because we paid for it & confirmed the check in times. The following morning the kids got straight into the pool/spa & my 13 year old had a piece of glass sticking out of her leg. Thats right ..GLASS! We immediately pulled all the kids out to find more pieces inside the Spa. We took pictures of the home before so we could make sure everything was put back as we found it & none of the glass was from our doing. The refrigerator water/ice dispenser had pieces of black pieces falling into our cups just to find it covered in black mold or mildew…we also had to grab our own propane tank to cook on the grill (it was faster to just go get it) which looked like no one had cleaned it in awhile so we did our best to get it clean to our satisfaction before we cooked. Normally Airbnbs are supposed to have a second tank available, we paid for that convenience. We even wiped downed a few of the night stands because they seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. You could see that no one has been there in awhile because outside they still had tags hanging from the roof from what looked like they had redone it in January because that’s the date it was signed..we were there mid April. The lights were supper confusing because everything is set up with remotes to turn them on/off some had dead batteries, so it confused us with the light switches on the walls too. The washer had a ton of black mold on the rubber seal that was really built up..the positives was we were allowed a late check out from the Host. I don’t blame the host though, its the owners obligation to keep the home checked.
