About this cabin rental
Escape to Muzzy Bay. Work from home surrounded by beautiful Newman Lake in a cabin decorated with one-of-a-kind intentional pieces that truly highlight the outdoor adventure the area has to offer. A year-round playground right at your doorstep. You will see why early settlers of the Spokane area coined Newman Lake, one of the first lakefront retreats, once lively with dance halls & resorts rich in history & charm. Meadow Lane is truly a gem. Conveniently located near Post Falls & Spokane Valley.
The space:
This home can comfortably sleep 4 people. There are two bedrooms each with a queen bed, plus an additional hideabed couch in the living room. Enjoy a beautiful view of the lake while you work from the desk in the front living room. One bathroom with tub shower and a designated laundry room with front load washer and dryer. This cabin also includes a designated room with workout equipment including a Peloton, rowing machine, and free weights. Enjoy star gazing from the porch at night. There is an extra large doggy door off the laundry room with a gated area in the back for your furry friends.
There are hiking and biking trails nearby. Two kayaks are available for use during the fall, spring and summer. In the winter, enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or ice skating when the lake freezes (skis, snowshoes, and skates in various sizes available). If you love skiing or snowboarding, there are 5 ski resorts within a 1.5 hour drive.
Guest access:
You will have access to the cabin and front yard, as well as the beach, dock, trampoline, and firepit. There are also two kayaks that you may use. Swimming and any watersports are all done at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty at any time.
During the winter you will have access to snow shoes, cross country skis, and ice skates.
Day Visitors: You are limited to two (2) day-time guests to visit the property during the day. This is due to the septic system and noise concerns. If you plan to have day visitors, please let us know at time of booking. Thank you.

There is a large outdoor storage section behind the house that is gated. This area is off-limits.

Cute little cabin on the lake.
It was very cold inside unless we used the wood stove, but otherwise clean and comfortable. Hosts were very easy to contact.
