About this house rental

Waterfront home on the Spokane River in Spokane (east side of spokane), 12 minutes to downtown Spokane and about 20 minutes into CDA. The best "setting" in all of Spokane, hard to beat sitting on the patio or dock watching the activity of the beautiful Spokane River.

The home has 2 very large King bedrooms, one with a large sitting room attached. The other has a double trundle bed in the very large room & 2 baths, one is an ensuite. Well appointed full kitchen. . Comes with beautiful dock. Incredible water views, hardwood floors, fireplace, huge patio, top of the line custom pool table and shuffleboard table. Completely furnished with everything you'll need.

Incredible kayaking and paddle boarding along the river, or just enjoy an amazing water view.

* Peak Season: May15th through September 15th, Minimum 3 night stay if over a weekend. 1 night stays available midweek even through Peak Season.
* Please note the location is on a private body of water and unfortunately no "guest" boats are allowed. We do have kayaks and paddle boards available for rent at very reduced rates over the local rental companies.

The location was perfect as a stay while we attended a wedding. Jeff told us ahead of time that there were some landscaping changes being made, and the Pickleball court he is adding will be a really fun addition. We all enjoyed the pool table and shuffleboard. All around enjoyable.

The location of this property was great, not too far off the express way, stores were close by. We got here while they were finishing construction changes to the property. The owner added living spaces to both levels to the east side of the home. The grass yard you see in the pictures is gone, having been replaced by a concrete slab for a future pickle ball court. The main living area was controlled by a thermostat in the upper level, which we didn't have access to. Fortunately, the temp was on the cool side, and we could use a gas fireplace to offset that. Plus each bedroom had heaters available. A unique item was that the master bath had a river rock basin in the shower. I found it uncomfortable to stand on, and ended up buying a shower mat to help even the surface out. The main shower was a regular flat basin with no issues there. The pool table and shuffle board were nice additions to relax with.

This house allowed us to create some wonderful family memories. The beautiful view, pool table, shuffleboard and open floor plan. Everything was available for everyday living. It is close to grocery stores in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Jeff was very hospitable to our family. We all loved it.

This house was absolutely beautiful. Our kids had so many fun things to do outside and inside the house. The kids would play pool and shuffleboard and then they played ball outside. They did fishing on the dock and kayaking. The place is even more beautiful in person. The owner is so responsive.

Our group of four stayed only for one night while we were traveling, but it was an enjoyable visit! The location on the water was so peaceful, and our accommodations were just right. Jeff, our host, met us to go over a few items and was extremely gracious and accessible. If we find ourselves going to the Spokane area again, we will certainly be looking this place up again!

The property has been undergoing a minor renovation and expansion which could have been why the interior condition and cleanliness were not at the level other reviews made a point of several times. Discussed with the owner and he took immediate action to ensure the next guests were walking into a spotless home. Peaceful and quiet, a perfect location if you want to relax and unwind.

Our visit was not what was expected on our side, we had family visiting and they were delayed. Our host Jeff accommodated us no matter what. He made our visit so easy and welcoming. The house was clean, the view and surrounding area are amazing. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location was close to downtown and where we needed to go.

We decided on this place based on the location and reviews. The rental unit is the lower half of the owner (Jeff's) home. There are 2 large bedrooms (with comfortable beds), and 2 full baths. Also a large livingroom and kitchen. There is an outdoor patio, when the weather is warm enough, and a beautiful view of the river. Our stay was quiet and peaceful. Jeff was great to communicate with ahead of time, and met with us at check in to show us around. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others.

We had a lovely time at Jeff's riverfront property. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The back patio (with very comfortable outdoor furniture) right above the river was perfect for relaxing and watching river activity. The pool table and foosball were great for the evenings. Jeff was a real pleasure to work with: extremely responsive, eager to help with anything needed, and great personality - so cheerful and interesting, yet not intrusive AT ALL. This was a 5 start stay overall. The only cons were general cleanliness (sticky surfaces and pet hair) and the property shows wear from others who have stayed and not cared for the place very well. There are so many pros to outweigh the cons, especially since those cons can be tidied up fairly quickly. This spot on the river is beautiful, so close to everything and yet felt so private! We spent a large chunk of time out on the patio just enjoying the views with family. Pool table and other games available on site. The property owner had wonderful communication and was helpful when it was needed. It was hard to leave to come back to reality, which is exactly what one wants from a vacation.

We came to Spokane for a baseball tournament. Kevin's home is 5 minutes away from Plante's Fery Sports Complex. It was so convenient. It was clean and felt like home. He was super easy to communicate with. He even dried my son's baseball pants as he had to wear them for his next game. You won't be disappointed!

Our group from California spent five nights while in town for our son’s wedding. We were so busy with wedding preparations and events, we didn’t get to fully enjoy all the property had to offer. The outdoor area facing the river was beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the closet space in all the bedrooms was a plus. Easy access to the highway and grocery store, restaurants, and drug store. It’s just a shame that we weren’t able to spend more time on the property! We would stay in the River home again!

This was a lovely location and just what we were looking for. The house itself provided a great gathering place with many bed and bathrooms for privacy. It had a comfortable, broken-in feel and met our needs quite nicely-and WOW, that deck! The owner was incredibly responsive and flexible with our very full schedule. We enjoyed this house very much. It's big enough for family dinners and the porches are great. So nice to have a dock, we all loved playing in the river. The backyard was a bit steeper than it looked in pictures, but it's worth the hill to be able to jump in the river and cool off. Great place to play together, clean and comfy.

What a fantastic property this is! My family was in town for wedding in the Spokane area and we needed a home that could comfortably fit 3 families with a total of 3 toddlers and 1 infant. This home was absolutely perfect for us. The rooms were spacious, plenty of restrooms, and the open concept helped us keep an eye on all the littles. We really appreciated the downstairs area which allowed for a separation from the rest of the house and even had it's own kitchen! We were visiting during a recent heat wave and the AC for the house was a welcome relief from the heat. It easily cooled the entire house without problems. Even better, the house is located on the Spokane river with a wonderful dock. Everyone enjoyed playing in the calm river waters. The two decks overlooking the water were great locations for morning coffee, and evening happy hour cocktails. We really enjoyed our stay at this property and look forward to being able to stay again in the future.

Great retreat for a 5 family reunion. Plenty of space (we rented entire property), for everyone to enjoy their own personal area. Spacious kitchen upstairs for plenty of helpers to prepare meals and downstairs kitchen was perfect for coffee/snacks. Pool table and shuffle board kept everyone happy. Our two miniature schnauzers found plenty of filtered sunlight inside the house to snooze the days away. This is really a special property. We felt like we were at "the lake" even though we were right in the middle of a city neighborhood. Amazing! Jeff was quick to respond to our questions and made our stay even more enjoyable. We hope to return to this home.

Dear Jeff,My husband and I wanted to offer some feedback after renting your home. At first glance we thought your home was perfect! Your beautiful long table was perfect for our fun group dinners and we appreciated you had the protective cover on it. The river right outside was very peaceful and your large deck was lovely to appreciate the view. The fact that each couple had their own bathroom was also a bonus. Unfortunately the appreciation of your home stopped there. When we started unpacking and discovered how filthy and unkept your home was our mood was dampened. The first day I did a sponge bath as I was disgusted by the mold in the shower. I finally, after washing the shower curtain and getting down on my knees to clean the tile floor used it but was in and out just as fast as humanly possible. Every drawer in the bathroom looked dirty, clothes still in the dresser and towels old and threadbare. The washing machine was disgustingly dirty. We had to clean it with Clorox before we could use it. I didn’t go downstairs but our friends reported it wasn’t any cleaner. When the smoke rolled in the thought of having to stay inside your home for two more days was so unappealing we all elected to forfeit those vacation days and go home. I truly was so surprised by the state of your home. By investing back just a bit into that lovely home you could ensure folks have a great time. You seemed so friendly and available to us this situation seems incongruous.. I have been told to report your home to VRBO so no one else gets surprised. We need for you to send us a picture of the shower being fixed and the upstairs middle sink faucet and bath tub being fixed or we will do that. I also feel we should have those last two days refunded as we would have stayed had the home been as advertised. Please know I am not trying to get something for nothing. We all paid a significant amount to rent your home and we should not have had to spend that much time cleaning it (we bought cleaning supplies) before we could relax and vacation. Thank you,Pam Fox
