About this apartment rental
Experience Mexican charm in this Playa del Carmen 2-bedroom condo in elevator building. This unusually spacious apartment features 1 king bed and 2 twin beds, 2 full baths with showers, a full kitchen, a comfy sectional + 2 chairs, dining for 6, and a comfy balcony overlooking the family pool on ground level. All that said, the gem that draws return guests every year is the huge infinity pool on the rooftop--adults only. It's never busy in the pool, and 17 loungers plus outdoor living room furniture provide plenty of seating.
The lovely apartment isn't the only draw for visitors! Situated on desirable, tree-lined Calle 38, guests have their choice of a dozen restaurants within a few blocks....some upscale, some casual...but all with outdoor seating amidst a jungly setting. (You may even see a monkey!). Live music draws visitors to the restaurants every evening and yet this apartment is quiet thanks to its location on the ocean side of the building. Topping it all off is the BRIC Spa on the ground floor of the building. Stay for a week and this owner will provide a 10% discount toward a spa service of $100 or less.

This is a cute, very spacious condo. It is quite dated but in a quaint way. It is filled with Mexican decor. The location is in the hub of shops & restaurants of 5th Ave. and 1/2 block from the beach. You can see the ocean from the balcony and windows. The roof top pool is spectacular. However, the VRBO ad says the suite has a washer...it does not and never has. There is a washer and dryer set up in the basement but it is so old & dirty. We did find a wash & fold laundry about 2 blocks away. The couch in the unit, while very comfy, needs a good cleaning. Veronica, the property manager, was easy to get a hold of and helped us immediately if we were in need of anything.

We really felt the Playa del Carmen energy staying here. So close to authentic restaurants, great beaches and friendly people. We walked everywhere and even the excursions we did felt central to us.Our place was so roomy and the pictures accurate. Our property manager was available at all times and very helpful as needed. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for a great family vacation experience.
