We really enjoyed this property for a family reunion retreat. It was also conveniently located to get to most areas in Des Moines quickly. Super clean. The basement game room was a big hit for kids. The basement stays cold.

The host was excellent with communication and even helped us get in early. There was plenty of space, our only issue with the space was the basement isn't made for tall people. They had to tilt their head when using bathroom and walking into bedroom. The showers are older and really small, so something to consider if you are a larger person. The deck area could use a good powerwashing but we still enjoyed some time out there. There were plenty of kitchen tools for us to cook so that was nice. Overall, it worked for our needs and we appreciated the hosts accommodating us. Thank you!

Great place, centrally located, cool AC, all the space we needed and more! Easy communication with the hosts and even got to see an owl in the backyard trees. Would definitely choose this property again!

So much room! We had a party of 7 so the 5 good size bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were perfect. Great well stocked kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, small appliances, spices etc. Large dining area with plenty of seating for a large group. The downstairs was perfect for the young adults. Plenty of comfy seating with a large screen TV and a large kitchen area. Beautiful outdoor space to enjoy and watch the wildlife. We even saw a deer! The host was so easy to contact with any questions. We would definitely stay there again if staying in the Des Moines area.
