Charming 2-bedroom cottage in welcoming Houghton Lake with Hot Tub, AC, WiFi

Rustic, with some nice updates. Kitchen was modern and spacious. The stairs for the loft sleeping spaces aren't great for older or tall people. Would rent again, as price, space, hot tub, and location to my parents small cottage were great.

This really is a cozy, cute place. You can tell a lot of personal love is being put in to it as its still somewhat of a work in progress but it does not keep it from being a great place to stay. The little pool table was a lot of fun and we absolutely loved the hot tub! The temp out side was still quite cool so it was very much enjoyed! We had pretty much everything we needed in the kitchen as well as plenty of bath towels and the beds were cozy enough....we all slept well. Also, Jacob was great with communication. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice sportsman cabin

Visit was ok. Needs work, unsafe in some areas. Steps going up to bedroom loft, handrail unsafe, never was able to connect to the WiFi. There is nothing on the bottom of the modem to connect to. There are areas where doors are that you can actually see outside, letting cold air in.
