Escape to our cozy Airbnb nestled in the heart of Mt. Nelson, surrounded by nature and yet only a 10 minute drive to the Hobart CBD. This welcoming two bedroom, one bathroom home offers a fusion of modern comfort and decor inspired by nature. The family can enjoy a friendly table tennis tournament and there is a mud kitchen for the kids. Light the fire pit or enjoy the incredible views from the deck - either experience will create some unforgettable memories in Tasmania.
The Space:
A natural oasis only a short drive from the Hobart CBD, surrounded by trees and with incredible views across to the Derwent River, your group or family will have all the comforts of home in Mt Nelson.
Featuring two bedrooms, one furnished with a queen bed and the other with a double bed. Both rooms are filled with natural light and one enjoys fantastic water views.
Enjoy a soak in the deep bathtub or the large, walk-in shower where the large monstera plants add a touch of nature to the space.
The kitchen is perfect for preparing home-cooked meals in. Decked out with all the modern essentials including a coffee machine and gas cooktop. Take your meals outdoors to the sun-drenched deck and enjoy the views or even cook up a storm on the BBQ.
Guest experiences might include spending your evenings stargazing around the fire pit or a friendly tournament of table tennis. Additionally, we've set up a fantastic mud kitchen where kids can unleash their creativity and connect with the earth.

Guests have full access and private use of the entire property.
The Neighborhood:
Known for its scenic beauty and stunning views of the River Derwent and surrounds, Mount Nelson is a peaceful and quiet slice of Hobart. Mount Nelson offers great opportunities for the outdoor enthusiasts with walking and cycling tracks, parks and nature reserves on your doorstep. Or, just a short way down the hill you're right in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Sandy Bay, Salamanca and Hobart's CBD.
Getting Around:
It's preferable to have a vehicle if you intend to explore Southern Tasmania however if you are just wanting to explore Hobart then the 457/458 bus takes you to the centre of town.
The 457 route takes you past the University of Tasmania, Sandy Bay Campus and into the centre of town, disembarking at Franklin Square area. From the Square it is a 5 minute walk to Brooke Street Pier where you can catch the regular ferry or bus service to MONA.
Interaction with Guests:
Please note I will not be available in person during your stay. I have a management team in place to assist guests with any questions or issues which may arise during their stay.
Please note that when booking and paying by card, a small fee will appear on your statement as a “ReslyPay” charge. This fee is set by the booking platform and is not controlled by us. Thank you for your understanding.
A $1,000 security bond pre-authorisation will be placed on your card prior to check-in. Please note that this is not a charge. The hold will be automatically released after your stay, subject to your bank's authorisation hold period, provided no damages or additional charges are identified. I stayed in this apartment for three days and had a great experience. The place was clean, well maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was convenient, with everything I needed close by.The apartment was well equipped and perfect for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, and I felt very relaxed and at home during my visit. Check-in was easy, and communication with the host was smooth and friendly.I would definitely recommend this apartment and would happily stay here again!

Yes, plenty of dishes and cookwear. Could've dfone with something to actually scrub the pans after use. We nearly ran out of washing up liquid.
