About this villa rental
A stunning, spacious villa right on the shores of Lake Como, this is the perfect holiday base for a large family or group of friends. The private garden and terrace are directly on the lake and there are panoramic views across the water to the mountains beyond. Guests can relax in peace and truly enjoy La Dolce Vita!
The villa, which sleeps 10 people, has been divided into three living areas. Each has a different atmosphere, but all are luxuriously appointed with contemporary décor which creates a comfortable environment for guests. The individual spaces allow guests to holiday together but also keep some independence and privacy. The open-plan living rooms are all beautifully furnished with a sofa, armchairs and flatscreen TV, plus a dining table and chairs. The ground floor rooms open directly onto the gardens. The first-floor rooms offer wonderful views across the lake. The upper floor rooms are more modern, and tucked under the attractive wooden eaves. Each of the open kitchens is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and coffee machine.
The villa’s gardens are delightful, with a variety of trees offering shade, as well as an open lawn, where guests can relax on sunloungers and enjoy the peace of Lake Como. There is an open terrace right on the lake with a table and chairs. It is the perfect spot for breakfast or sundowners.
Sleeping
The villa has 5 bedrooms. Three of these have double beds and en suite bathrooms. The fourth bedroom has two single beds which can be joined and the fifth bedroom has a bunk bed. All have wardrobes and drawers.
Bathroom
There are 4 well-appointed bathrooms. Of these three have a shower, basin and WC. The fourth has a full bath as well as a basin, bidet and WC. There are two separate WC’s.

Location
The villa is in a quiet location, at the southern edge of the small town of Vassena, across the lake from Mandello del Lario. There is a ferry port in the town (10 minutes walk) and from here visitors can explore Lake Como. Guests can also hire their own boat from close to the port.
The famously beautiful town of Bellagio is just a 10-minute drive from the villa and makes a wonderful day out. The town hosts a farmers market on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Here you can find the best local produce to cook at home. Alternatively, the town of Lecco (20 minutes) has markets every Wednesday and Saturday morning. You can also find supermarkets and other amenities in Lecco.
Milan’s international Linate airport is a 55-minute drive from the apartment and Milan Malpensa airport is 1 hour and 10 minutes away.
