Hotel Boccalino Sitges

This is a really lovely new hotel. Beautiful modern rooms, spotlessly clean and right in the middle of Sitges. Excellent value for money. We were worried about parking, however we parked our car at Nou Mercat which was only Euro 17 per day. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was in a fantastic location, room was comfortable and newly renovated.

Check in was very difficult, their entrance to the hotel is always locked and there was no sign to indicate where it was, there is actually no sign anywhere for the hotel only a restaurant which was not open. When pushing the buzzer outside you just got a message in Spanish and no one came. After waiting outside in the heat for a long time I managed to call out to someone on a balcony who came and let me in. Booking.com site had a phone number but as I was travelling I had no phone only internet.

Looks like this was an apartment building which was recently converted into a "hotel", so everything is brand new. There is a pool on the roof. It's very conveniently located within walking distance of the beach and the promenade. The host was very friendly and accommodating.

The room was tiny and had the bathroom sink next to the bed. The bathroom itself had a glass door with an opaque strip in the middle, so no privacy whatsoever. The elevator is for 2 people or 1 person with luggage.
