Terrazas Alcaidesa 2139 Golf, Pool & Beach

Great property very well equipped kitchen (although cutlery is hidden in a drawer within a drawer and had be stumped for a few minutes), good beds and two nice spacious bathrooms (showers not baths but the showers are large walk in ones and easy to wash small children! I also liked the large spacious cupboards which meant we could unpack and hang up clothes and stay tidy whilst we were there. We’ve stayed in Terrazas de Alcaidesa twice previously in other apartments hosted by different company and love the pool complex and the underground parking (so your car isn’t roasting when you get in) and we keep coming back.

My main issue is the check in process. It’s mentioned in the description but it’s really a pain. You have to collect and drop off the keys in a town 25mins down the coast which is just not convenient. We’ve stayed in la terrazas de Alcaidesa before and always had a lock box or digital key and found this process really over the top and painful. Additionally the instructions on how to find the apartment were awful and we only managed as we had prior knowledge of the complex. The WiFi code was hidden in a welcome email with a lot of other info and not written anywhere in the apartment so be aware of this. None of this is deal breaking, but as much as I liked the apartment given availability (which this time there wasn’t because we were last minute) I would choose another operator to avoid the dreadful check in process. The location really suits our needs and we love the pool hence why we keep coming back, but be aware it’s not walking distance to the beach or any shops/restaurants.
