The Little Lodge House

This is such a lovely place to stay- my friend and I loved it here. The welcome basket was lovely!! The hosts messaged beforehand to check what we would like, and everything we got was delicious- it really does save you worrying on the way. We got held up due to an accident in front of us, and the welcome basket meant we could just walk straight into the lodge, have toast and tea, and flop on the sofa. It is surprisingly quiet for being next to a road, and even having the windows open, we didn't really notice noise aside from birdsong. The lodge is GORGEOUS and the beds were very comfy. The exposed beams are beautiful, such a nice touch, and the welcome booklet with information about the area was so useful! The skylight in the second bedroom was a lovely experience, especially during the rain :) very relaxing! The bathroom is extremely well-stocked, they even provided toiletries, which would have been such a big help had we forgotten something.

We had no major issues at all- staying here was pretty much stress free. It was a little bit tricky to figure out where we were meant to park on arrival, but once we did, there was just about enough room to manoeuvre round and the gate made us feel a lot more secure. (Be aware that the hosts have one half of the driveway, but we had no issues getting in or out.) The cutlery drawer is broken- took us a while to find it! Once you know where it is it's not an issue. The bathroom could do with an extra shelf, and a dustpan and brush would be helpful for de-crumbing surfaces!

Spacious, well equipped and very comfy beds. Very helpful host.

Wasn’t the easiest to find but probably satnav in car to blame.

Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft, schön gelegen. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. In der Küche haben wir bei der Ankunft Brot, Butter, Marmelade, Milch etc. vorgefunden

Fantastic stay. Great communication with the hosts who were eager to help in anyway they could. Great location for trips out into the country and visiting family in London (Enfield). Accomodation delivered what it says wonderfully.
