I can't express how much my son and I enjoyed this accommodation, I almost don't want to write this review so I can keep it a secret and make it easier to book next year, haha. A bit of background first, we travel extensively and always prefer to stay in what would be described as 'authentic, local apartments'. This apartment fits the bill perfectly! 1. The apartment has everything you need if you plan to be out a lot. It's somewhere to sleep that has extremely comfortable beds, a great washer dryer system, and a really powerful shower (note- it's a wet room, but that didn't bother us). If you choose to order food in, the utensils are vast- even scissors). Great aircon. It's small, but it was perfect for a smaller adult woman and her 6ft son. Extremely clean, and well cared for. 2. The neighbourhood. Wow. I'm not even sure how to describe how much I loved the area. The little restaurants, the bars, the shops. So quiet, but felt lively. There is an amazing hike trail just up the road which we enjoyed- the views are breathtaking. There's a wee bus that stops almost directly outside- the 09- as someone who lives in Edinburgh, a bus service this local was something I was so excited about. You're super close to the City Hall and many other tourist attractions, but this area does not feel touristy. There's a local food market that is a lot more chill than the bigger ones, and just as tasty. 3. The host. The lady who runs this apartment is so, so kind. Replied to any questions I had straight away and showed us so much care when we were here. All in all, this was an amazing find on booking.com and I would thoroughly recommend it ... Unless you're trying to pick the same dates as me next year- because I can't wait to come back!

I liked it all. Perfect.

This place was tucked in a very cute little area with lots of shops and restaurants/bakery. A GS25 and 7/11 just a couple minutes walk on either side. It was really nice to have a washer and drying in the facility because we didn’t pack a lot of clothes for our 2 weeks trip. The wall mounted AC’s were great since we were visiting in the middle of June. The owners were very helpful and kind with every response.

Near to shops and cafes.

Too small for a family of 4. In photos it looks big but pretty small. Suitable for 1-2 people.
