    Private rooms are clean and safe, doors can slam loudly and shared bathrooms can get quite busy if there are larger parties staying at the hostel but the location is very good. I would recommend for a short stay in Berlin.

    The stay was OK for the price. The rooms were clean with comfy mattress and pillow, big lockable closet was a plus. But - the room was extremely hot, too cool it a little the windows had to be open which make it extremely loud as it was a corner room from the street side. The floor in the bathroom was flooded, there was no toilet paper in the toilets either in the evening nor in the morning. The key card to the room wasn't always working, once it took me a minute until I was able to unlock the door. If I ever stay there again it will only be if the price difference between other hostels is significant.

    Its a nice place for a few days but definitely not for long term stays, it needs sound proofing can be a problem if you are a light sleeper, all the doors be it rooms or washrooms are so heavy and 99% of the time these bang loud while closing. There are no basic items in the room like a mirror, towels(which you have to rent for around 3 euros), rooms were not properly cleaned there were crumbs and dust everywhere. There were 4 men's showers with good water pressure and 3 toilets on our floor and plenty of sinks. There is a common area. A basic cafe at the reception, reception is 24/7 open. Note there are no fans or air conditioning in rooms, which might be an issue in peak summers, however evenings are better if you open the windows. There is heating.
