Casa Tudor, Charmy Eccentric Flat in Piccola Londra 10 Min from City Center

La posizione ottima .. casa spaziosa ..letti molto comodi .. ottimo riscaldamento .. vicino di fermata di pullman che porta in centro .. appartamento si trova nella bella zona

Problemi con acqua .. un po’ calda e dopo 3 minuti fredda .. difficile da gestire se eravamo tre persone .. cuscini per dormire davvero scomodissimi (praticamente piatti )

Lovely weekend stay. We arrived from the airport using the taxi service that Casa Tudor's team offered, which was very helpful and got us there quickly. The whole team are very responsive and helpful via their WhatsApp group. At the apartment, we were met by Adrian, who gave us the keys and explained everything about our stay, he was quite funny too. The apartment was very clean, especially the beds. The main bedroom and the bathroom were very spacious, the living area would have been too but we needed the sofa bed pulled out which made the space smaller (but still more than adequate). The beds were comfortable and there was extra pillows and blankets in the cupboard if needed. The bathroom was very clean and there was a hairdryer too. We didn't need to use the kitchenette as we had meals out, but everything was there to make meals - mini hob, microwave, sink, bowls and utensils. There was also a fridge, which was a good size and helpful to store drinks. We stayed in this apartment because we were attending Rome Film Festival, located at the Auditorium Parco Della Musica. The apartment was a 15 minute walk away from the venue, easy to navigate, along main roads which made it feel safer walking back at midnight. The area where the apartment is located is very clean and friendly. In the streets out front there is quite a few eating places for sit-in or takeaway. We ate at the restaurant across the street, Il Vignola, which was lovely and the locals were very friendly and all knew each other. For breakfast, there is a brilliant cafe directly opposite the apartment which does beautiful pastries! In terms of the city centre, there is a bus route from the main road near the apartment which will take you to Piazza Del Popolo, the beginning of Rome city centre shops. We had trouble figuring out the bus system and decided to walk there instead, which was about 20 minutes walk down a straight road (you can't go wrong).

Not to the fault of the apartment itself, but it should be noted that there is a bar along the street which has people sitting outside loudly until the early hours of the morning (about 2am). On our first night there, they also had a live jazz band playing and it was very loud, making it difficult to fall asleep. Unfortunately, this is on the main bedroom side of the apartment. But there is wooden shutters you can close, which helped a little to buffer the noise. We had an issue plugging in some of our plug adapters to the sockets in the walls. We had plugs with two prongs and they didn't fit, most of them wanted three prongs. But luckily the provided hairdryer had an adapter on the end which we took to use and it worked. Also, whilst the shower was lovely and clean, the power of it was very intense, the water almost hurt when it hit my skin!
