The owner is very responsive. The check in process was easy. Yosang neighborhood is very safe and quiet. Yongsan Yongmum Market is nearby as well as many restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The accommodation is good amount of space for a large group or family. The apt is very well stocked and the washer and dryer was great. We also appreciated the radiant heat and AC options. Upstairs patio area is very nice. Uber got lost twice so enter "Cozy Yongsan Castle" in Naver Map and have the address in Hangul for your driver. We didn't take public transportation.

The main challenge is the 3 flights of stairs so if you have large suitcases, be forewarned. It is doable to bring up the large/heavy suitcases with friends/family members' help. We didn't use the 2nd bathroom's shower was low and a bit awkward in the rooftop room so we mainly used the primary bathroom in the apartment.

It was warm. It had a nice rooftop hang out area. There were coffee capsules and noodles provided for our arrival.

It’s on the top floor with no elevator, It is smaller than expected and thee are unusual rules about the lights having to be turned off by a certain time because of neighbors complaining. No view of the New Year’s Eve fireworks though the pictures and description sow that you would be able to see the fireworks, so this defeated the purpose of our staying at this particular place for New Years Eve. There were also strange rules in the guide telling us to put our garbage in the freezer to keep down the smell. That just doesn’t seem sanitary and made us hesitant to use the freezer at all.
