Everything the location is amazing the facilities are super comfy and clean. The host and people work there r super efficient friendly and considerate. I love how they are so flexible and adapt to the situation and super responsive.

Beautiful Lijiang old town guesthouse, ideally located in the ancient town. Very friendly and helpful staff. The friendly owner organized a perfect hiking trip and all transfers to Tiger leaping gorge for us.

I had a disappointing experience with the service at this hotel, particularly during check-out. I arrived at the check-out area at 8.27am and informed a staff member in a black shirt that I needed assistance with my luggage to the entrance at 8.30am.Although he initially agreed, he became preoccupied with other guests and left me waiting. Shortly after, another staff member in a light green shirt arrived and immediately assisted other tourists, while I was still left unattended. The first staff member eventually returned and told me, “Let’s go,” but there was confusion about my luggage being in a different vehicle. Instead of resolving the issue, he walked off and later came back only to say goodbye, without actually helping. To make matters worse, another staff member wearing glasses approached me abruptly and complained that it was already 8:35 AM, accusing me of being late despite the fact that I had been there earlier and was waiting for assistance. His tone was rude and dismissive. I tried to explain the situation and even pointed out the staff member I had spoken to, but it was clear he had no interest in listening.I understand that language barriers can happen, but this felt more like a lack of care and basic respect toward guests. This same staff member was also present during check-in, which suggests a consistent issue with attitude rather than a one-off misunderstanding. Overall, the experience left a very negative impression. When you pay for a hotel stay, you expect a certain level of professionalism and courtesy—especially in simple situations like check-out assistance. Unfortunately, that standard was not met. Guests have to rely entirely on stairs, which can be very inconvenient if you’re traveling with luggage. I would strongly advise avoiding this hotel if you have heavy bags or mobility concerns, as it may not be suitable for elderly guests or anyone who struggles with stairs.
