The location itself was great, and we really enjoyed our surroundings. If there had been better communication regarding this understandable issue, or if a simple solution like dish towels or a drying rack had been provided for the broken dishwasher, our experience would have been much better. Additionally, if the large gaps in the front door had been sealed to prevent drafts, we could have had a very pleasant stay.

Our stay was overshadowed by multiple issues. The dishwasher was broken, and despite multiple attempts to contact the host, they showed no empathy and offered no solution. We had to wash everything by hand without a drying rack or towels. Additionally, gaps in the front door let in drafts and noise, and if neighbors on the shared veranda are drinking loudly, it feels like they are inside your apartment. The main entrance door also doesn’t close properly, but we received no meaningful response about this either. Even when Booking.com reached out, the host completely ignored them. Fortunately, Booking.com showed the right level of empathy and provided us with an excellent compensation. We chose this apartment partly for the kitchen and the comfort it was supposed to offer, but the host’s negligence and lack of interest made this a disappointing experience. Poor service from the accommodation, but compliments to Booking.com for their customer-focused approach.
