La finestra sul lago

Stunning location away from other crowded, touristy locations. It was easy to find the apartment and it felt safe. Exceptionally clean. Good range of restaurants all immediately outside. The bus service was excellent - the apartment side had regular buses to Lecco train station, the opposite side of the road had a regular bus to / from Bellagio, and a 5 minute walk behind the apartment was the bus to Como (beside the sushi restaurant). I got the early bus to avoid crowds and came back for any early dinner in Malgrate.

It's not close to any supermarket for shopping (no car), so buy shopping whenever you are out for the day. Table lamps in the living room instead of candles or ceiling lights would be better.

Location and views, cleanliness and communication with host

No dishwasher

The host was excellent. She was clear in her communication, had great pictures to help find the lock box, kind and generous with check in and check out times. The place was spotless and comfortable.

Gut eingerichtete Ferienwohnung
