The Afterlife Poshtel & Art Space

The location and room size were great. Super comfortable bed and great security. A pin is needed to enter the building and key card needed to get to the area with the rooms. The housekeeper was also super friendly. The staff were also very helpful on WhatsApp. The Afterlife poshtel could be significantly improved with a few minor changes.

It was a bit noisy at night due to traffic. Some art on the wall could've helped a bit to absorb some of the sound. There were some leaks in the corridor area in between the rooms and bathroom. Not a major issue or hazard but quite unpleasant to look at due to the discolouration on the walls. The bathroom bins are super small and filled up within a few hours of being replaced. A larger bin would've made a difference. There are also no napkins at the sinks by the bathrooms. This would be an easy improvement. The staff are big on reducing waste, however, a motion sensor AC or some sort of fan in the "corridor" area between the bathroom and rooms would've been great.

The property was exactly what I needed for a relaxing stay, within walking distance to the city. I ended up extending my stay for 2 month!

Excellent facilities, comfortable bed. Plenty of bathroom and toilets for each guest. The cleaner does an exceptional job. The host was super easy to communicate with and was very helpful and quick to respond. The other guests were quiet at night. The neighbourhood is well connected to the old town and is situated in a more local vibe area away from the typical tourist areas, but totally within reach. There is also a really nice couple running the cafe downstairs with a good choice of Western style breakfast options. Very fresh ingredients and never disappointed. For the price, an absolute bargain! I wish I had stayed longer.

I have no real complaints: The duvet was on the hot side after coming from a Danish winter :)
