Riverfront Cabin w/ Mtn Views in Tuckasegee!

The home was very clean, spotless. Kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed, the full size refrigerator was appreciated. Well appointed bathroom, plenty of towels. Minutes away from Castle Ladyhawke, the venue for the wedding we traveled to attend.

The gate to the property was tricky, steep slope to stand on to unlock and barbed wire across the top. There is a single dim ceiling light in the kitchen which gives very little light to work with. The living room and bedroom lighting not much better. The main reason for the low rating is we did not get help from the property manager/owner about a mechanical issue happening inside the house. I called twice and spoke to the property manager to ask for help, explained that the issue was very concerning, never got a call back or message. That's a first in all of my experiences with renting vacation homes. Very disappointed about that.
