The Space:
This 3-bedroom, one-of-a-kind home just south of downtown proper truly encapsulates the Austin vibe of “keeping it weird!”. You’ll love spending time exploring every room, never quite knowing what you might find next. Located just one block from trendy South Congress, fantastic shopping and fabulous restaurants are practically right in your backyard. You won’t believe just how many food and drink options are within walking distance from your front door, accommodating whatever mood you find yourself in from dining in to snagging some take-out. Downtown Austin is just a 5-minute drive or ride away, making day trips to and from the home a cinch. For a more peaceful way to spend the day, Lady Bird Lake is also a short distance away, offering parks, a boardwalk, hiking and biking trails, and even kayaking and paddleboard rentals for an immersive day on the water. This location simply cannot be beat for anyone who wants to fully experience everything Austin has to offer!

You can step out onto the shaded back deck where you’ll find a plethora of outdoor furniture suitable for dining as well as rest and relaxation. Back inside, the spacious kitchen can accommodate all your mealtime needs, fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, toaster, drip coffee maker, and a large island where you can serve up a spread of afternoon appetizers. Coffee lovers are also sure to love the pour-over coffee setup available in the kitchen. Barstool seating at the island for 2 is an ideal spot for your morning coffee or a quick breakfast or take more formal meals at the nearby dining room table with seating for 6. A fully fenced back yard offers even more outdoor spaces to spread out and stretch your legs, keeping the unconventional theme alive and well in the décor and seating options.

- Driveway parking available for up to 2 vehicles. Additional metered parking on the street as needed.

Our family loved this. The property was awesome. There is lots of room for everyone. There is a lot of cool stuff on the walls and collections to look at. We love the outdoor yard space. There are limited cooking supplies, but I was thrilled to see a tea kettle. We love the location and we would definitely come back the next time we visit Austin!!!!.

Great home that was close to everything we came for. Loved sitting outside in a private yard. Lots of dishes. We needed some supplies like foil and plastic wrap. Each room had its own bathroom which was wonderful.

There are a few maintenance issues that need addressing including towel racks coming lose off the wall upstairs, coffee maker would only work making half a pot and downstairs bedroom door handle needs addressing as it was a struggle to open the door. Would suggest that a mirror be put in that room as well.
