About this cottage rental
Enjoy Santa Clara Valley wine country while basking poolside at our private guest house retreat. Surrounded by picturesque scenery, take a break with your friends and family on the private patio, take a dip in the seasonal, unheated pool, or unwind indoors.
Our guest house is private and peaceful and can comfortably sleep up to four people. It includes one bedroom with a queen size bed, a queen size convertible sofa in the living room, a full bathroom, and full kitchen with everything you should need. Off-street parking is open to our guests. Of note, although we are close to town, the mountains block most cell phone reception. But don’t worry, once you are here, there is WiFi throughout the property.
We are ideally located between Morgan Hill (about a 10 minute drive) and dozens of local wineries (as close as 8 minutes), as well as, a 35 minute drive from San Jose International Airport and about 1 hour 15 minutes from San Francisco International Airport. Savor the peace and quiet that the country life has to offer, sample local wines, or head to town to explore the many local restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, and entertainment options. If you’re looking for an even bigger adventure, there are plenty of attractions within just a short drive. We are a 45 minute drive to the coast and about one hour to Capitola, Santa Cruz, Monterey, and Carmel-By-The-Sea. We are also about 30 minutes to the San Juan Bautista Spanish Mission, 1 hour 15 minutes to Pinnacles National Park, and just a short distance to several other attractions.

Well located for the areas we were visiting - Watsonville, San Juan Bautista and Palo Alto that also allowed us to visit wineries close by. Morgan Hill is a lovely town. Place was spacious and comfortable. The bed could be a little firmer for my liking, but was comfortable; and the living area could use a more comfortable couch, but I highly recommend this place for seclusion and a great place to visit wineries of Santa Clara county.
