Our stay was incredible! Every need for our use and enjoyment was provided. The views were spectacular and we saw sea turtles and whales every day and all day long. Check in was easy. We will do this again! Our only note is that there is mildew stain in the bathroom shower. It’s so hard to avoid this is Hawaii, but we wanted to note it. Our other comment is that pool and hot tub area are small and dated. With those two notes, we’d still stay again in a heartbeat! The AC worked great, the bed was so comfortable, and we practically lived on the patio. Heaven!

Reviewer Comments:
There was a “sewer” smell when we entered the house & the downstairs air was not working correctly. Port A Escapes sent out a maintenance man to check it. The air was on a hold and would release later in the day. A second maintenance man came out and took the air conditioner off hold and it cooled to the normal 70 degrees. The smell was hard to detect a location. We later discovered it was the throw rugs in the hall. We removed them and put them in the back yard to “air out” and we bought air fresheners to put all around the house. This helped some. The downstairs front door on the inside, one side of the door facing was loose. We attempted to “tap” it back in place, but it wouldn’t stay. Also, the pool hadn’t been cleaned when we got there on Saturday. We were told the days were Friday & Tuesday. No one cleaned the pool on Tuesday morning. We called Port A Escapes and they got right on it. When we returned from the beach, it was still cloudy with lots of sand. When we carried trash out there were two bottles of Pool Shock in the trash can. The pool was clear the next morning, but still full of sand and the yellow flowers from the pretty landscaping in the drain basket. Without these issues the house would be a great family place to stay.
