Casa dell'antico ulivo 2 is a newly renovated independent flat in a villa with swimming pool. The flat has a living room with a kitchenette complete with appliances and a dining table, a double bedroom with a clothes rack, and a bathroom with toilet and shower. Outside there is a shared barbecue area and wood-burning oven for guests' use and a large terrace with sun loungers in front of the large swimming pool for shared use. On the property there is private parking for cars and a laundry room with washing machine for free use. The accommodation is equipped with every comfort such as air conditioning and wifi.
The villa is immersed in the Santa Venera countryside in a panoramic position, but only 15 minutes from the beach of Mascali, should guests still wish to enjoy the sea. Restaurants and bakeries are nearby, while shops, supermarkets and a pharmacy can be found in the centre of Mascali. Also nearby is the beach of San Marco di Calatabiano, which lies on the stretch of coast between the mouth of the Alcantara River, to the north, and the Fiumefreddo River, to the south, in a wild and natural setting. From the beach it is possible to admire the majesty of the volcano Etna. It borders the renowned sandy beach of Giardini Naxos. Mascali is a perfect destination for visiting the east coast of Sicily but also the Taormina area and its coastline.
From the villa it also takes less than 20 minutes to reach the A18 motorway, to reach Catania (35 km) or Siracusa (about 100 km), or in the direction of Messina, to visit the seaside resorts on the north-east coast. You can stay and enjoy some relaxation by the large swimming pool and the splendid panorama.
