About this apartment rental
Beach Walk is a luxury three bedroom apartment located on the Platinum West Coast of Barbados in the elegant Ashanti condominium - in which there are just 9 units. The apartment is set on an elevated location on a ridge from which you can see Gibbes Beach.
This first floor apartment has been recently renovated to the highest standard with a new kitchen and most furniture being replaced. Each of the three bedrooms have air-conditioning and ceiling fans plus ensuite bathrooms.
Each bedroom has its own flat screen TV which you can use to access subscription services.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed and patio doors that lead onto the balcony with fabulous views - the perfect place to watch a Caribbean sunset and also the monkeys early in the morning.
The second bedroom has 2 twin beds (which can be made into king sized if preferred) and a large dressing room.
The third bedroom has a double bed and like each bedroom has plenty of storage for clothes.
The open plan living and dining area also have doors which open out onto the balcony.
The cosy living area has another flat screen TV where you access subscriptions or merely connect up your device via one of the TV ports..
There is fast Wi-Fi installed for all your communication needs in the building and a separate communal Wi-Fi for the pool area.
The stylish and modern kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to prepare your snacks and meals. There is also a laundry room with a washer and dryer.
Maid service is offered once a week but further service can be provided at an additional charge.
Take advantage of the large communal pool and enjoy an afternoon dip to cool down from the hot Barbados sun. Sun loungers are provided on the spacious sun deck.
There is parking available at the condo, and if you wish to hire a car for the duration of your stay, please let us know and we would be happy to provide you with some prices. Car Hire is recommended for ease of exploring the island.
The closest beach is located just 6 - 10 minutes walk away, Gibbes Beach – a quiet beach with calm waters perfect for swimming. We have four portable sun chairs which you can take with you.
Just a little further away, you will find Mullins Beach, which has beach facilities, beach bars/restaurants and various watersports suitable for all ages.
A 5-10 minute drive away you will find Speightstown, a small town with supermarket, banks and post office. Here you will find bars and restaurants suitable for all budgets. The west coast has plenty of restaurants and dining options, and nothing in Barbados is ever far away as it is such a small island and there is plenty to explore.

We loved staying here. Matt was extremely helpful and responsive. Our hostess Jacqui attended to every question or need immediately and thoroughly.We vacationed at Ashanti with our 2 adult kids and their spouses. This property was perfect with the private ensuites and ample living and dining room areas. We enjoyed every morning with coffees on the patio overlooking the pool and soon plunged in for a routine morning dip. We saw monkeys 4 of the seven days in the adjacent natural area. The pool was very clean and maintained throughout our stay. Many lounge chairs and umbrellas available. Strolling 15 minutes to the beach or Sea Shed restaurant was easy and again we saw troops of monkeys in the trees on 2 occasions. Our comment would be that you should add a few minutes to any of the walk times shown on Google maps. Just because you are going to be distracted by nature or taking extra caution walking as sidewalks are minimal in most areas. This has nothing to do with the property...Just the way it is in our experience.Ashanti is a private secure gated property with parking included. It exceeded our expectations and we know that we will return again.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Communications with the host were timely and excellent. The condo is well maintained. Beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Three full bathrooms are available for guests. All bedrooms and living room are with AC. The balcony is great. The swimming pool and area around it are clean. The condo is 800 meters away from the great secluded beach, Gibbs. Four beach chairs are available for guests. We rented a car to access the Barbados sightseeing places. Parking at the Condo is secured. We recommend this place for staying in Barbados and will return.

Stayed here for a week in April 2026. Very clean, with easy access to West side of the island for beaches and restaurants Loved the three separate bathrooms, which worked perfect for our company. Jacqui was great and very responsive to any questions.

The condo was clean, comfortable and spacious for our group of 6 people. Jacqui, the property manager, was very helpful getting us situated.
