Location and size

Door hard to open. Tiles slippery.

The location was very good, quiet and close to the better eateries on offer in this town. Not at all impressed with most of the food found on the main strip, your town entry point should always have great food and atmosphere. We would have exited the town quickly and permanently if it was not for the fact that we had pre-booked accommodation. Fortunately, we were able to later seek out very good food venues outside the town centre and were impressed with the clean ocean and lake beaches, beautiful and clean waterways.

The property fittings need updating, for example, the ceiling fans are faulty, specifically the controllers. One of the fans looked as though it was about to detach from its anchor point - all very noisy. Air conditioning is a must, particularly for those who feel the humidity. One of the bedroom TV's was not connected to the antenna or the NBN and its dvd was disconnected, not good. Not happy that my very expensive drink bottle I left in the property refrigerator has not been returned by the managing agent, despite telephoning the managing agent later that day. Hard to believe that there was another guest immediately after our stay, considering all other duplexes in this building were empty for the four nights we were there.

Fantastic location Lovely apartment

Location was great. Property is beautiful.

Bed bugs in master bedroom. Contacted forster accomodation. They did spray mid week. No other accomodation was offered and we had prepayed $2700 for a week here. my son was bitten badly and had a bad reaction. When forster accomodation where questioned about the bed bugs they denied they existed even though we had photographic and medical proof. The lady at forster accomodation offered no apology for this but accused us of making it up or bringing them with us. (Neither of which is true). There response to such a disgusting problem was very unprofessional and our stay in forster was stressful and uncomfortable. Future training for staff at this office about the health ramifications for guests would be recommended as bed bugs spread quickly. We have forwarded a Doctors report and photographic evidence to the local health district and local council for their information into the inadequate handling of this situation. In future I will be choosing a more professional rental agency when staying in forster.
