We went to the UP to visit with family. The cabin was clean and welcoming. We have actually stayed at this location in 2023. Enjoyed having the washer and dryer to be able to stay on top of the laundry. The river makes for a beautiful sunrise. The wifi was reliable and we enjoyed the board games. I would like to see some sort of air conditioning put in for future stays. I understand the area does't need air often but it was very warm while we were there. We will be staying here again when we head back up to visit the area.

Loved the beautiful clean home in detour. Had large yard to enjoy and great deck. Loved being able to view the freighters as they traveled up and down the St Marys river!

A Peaceful Slice of Heaven on Lake Huron
This Lake Huron home in De Tour Village offered one of the most peaceful and refreshing family getaways we’ve had. The cozy, well-kept house felt private yet was just a short drive to the village and views of passing freighters. While dining options are limited, the fully equipped kitchen made meal prep easy. Our two boys had an amazing time enjoying the outdoors. Host Amy was fantastic—attentive, kind, and made sure everything went smoothly.

This place was an absolute gem! We stayed here in the summer and were blown away by the peaceful setting, the gorgeous views of Lake Huron, and the constant breeze off the water. The home is charming, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
