Fabulous stay in the Golden Acres villa, host was exceptional, always on hand and very helpful with anything you can think of. Provided a cleaner half way through our stay, helped us book a table in one of our favourite restaurants even though they were fully booked, picked us up from the airport and provided a hire car (separate cost). Location (near Holetown) is ideal, surrounded by small shops, great restaurants/beach bars and Alleynes Bay is the best beach, imo, and we tried many of them. I would not hesitate staying there again - highly recommend it!

Nothing to dislike, could be picky and say to sweep the area around the swimming pool of leaves even more often but it's surrounded by beautiful trees and therefore this is being nitpicky.

Modern accessible spacious staff are very helpful

An absolute home from home stay with just about everything that you could need to make your stay a comfortable one. The place was spotless and cleaned to a really high standard. The living space was fab, with a comfy corner sofa. This is the only room there is a TV. A fully stocked kitchen with everything you would need for a self catering holiday - Alena provided us with a welcome pack. There was washing up liquid clothes and dishtowels salt, pepper, sugar.
There is a dining area with a big table, and a covered outside area, great for reading at any time of the day, just make sure, you’re wearing your mozzy spray The bedrooms were all of a good size, comfortable beds, loads of storage space and all had fans and air con. The ensuite was a great size, with a double sink and a fab shower as did the other bathroom. All the bathrooms had hand soap in them and loads of toilet roll. There is a safe in the second bedroom. An abundance of towels, both for the bathrooms and for the pool and beach. The pool is at the other end of the units and is for use by everyone, I saw a pool guy come to clean the pool on a couple of occasions and each time he left it was spotless. The villa is in a gated area, so felt really safe and secure. Location was perfect. The beach was a 5 minute walk also where The Lone Star Restaurant and Juma’s Restaurant both well worth a visit and also JuJu’s beach bar and Pepper Jacks. There was plenty of sunbeds and lots to do on the beach if you wanted to, but also great for just people watching. It was a five to ten minute drive or bus ride to Holetown, Mullins, Speightstown with buses passing frequently.

Nothing!! We loved our stay in Golden Acre and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others. We dealt with both Elena and Sebastian and found them both to be responsive to messages, and quick to sort out any of the minor questions or issues that we had throughout our stay. When we next decide to come back to Barbados, I can honestly say that I would look to book to stay here again in a heartbeat. See you again soon! :)
