It is 20 minutes walk from the beach and a short ride to the restaurants, shops and other nice things. Clean. Has all essentials. Helpful host. Marvelous sunrises at Vanderbilt beach! Do not miss it! Bikes and beach amenities are provided, which is nice
It felt a bit abandoned, not very cosy. The promised bikes we difficult to access - the locks on the storage rooms were not working. When we got to the bikes- we were not able to use them still as the tires were deflated and there was no pump to pump them up. We saw a huge crouch in the room, some ants, but I guess this is the normal thing there in Florida. TV has a bad speaker- watching movies was not very nice experience. The house is pretty old, but well maintained. Ah, due to the recent hurricane the beach that is in the walking distance, was closed…. But a few minutes drive - and you get to another one. The view from the balcony is to the construction site Nextdoor. Kitchen utensils are really only minimum essential set - eg there were not enough wine glasses for us five. But maybe we should drink less….
