Perfect location and endless sea views

Our stay at Summer Place 12 was exceptional. The location is truly magnificent — with direct and easy access to the beach right from the property. Each morning, we opened our curtains to a breathtaking view of the blue ocean and the calming sound of the waves. The unit features excellent BBQ facilities on the balcony, offering a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sea view. Guests also have access to a well-maintained swimming pool and a private gate leading directly to the beach. The area is safe and ideal for families with young children who want to enjoy the beach and outdoor activities. Highly recommended for a peaceful and scenic getaway.

The en-suite bathroom in the main bedroom featured an older shower facility that was unfortunately not usable during my stay. Nonetheless, the second bathroom, which included a spacious bathtub, provided a comfortable alternative and compensated well for the inconvenience.

Panoramic sea views from main bedroom, lounge and patio are mesmerising! Sound of the waves crashing on the beach is wonderful to fall asleep to and wake up to! Just a few steps and you’re on a stunning, clean beach through private access gate. Close proximity to shops and foodie places. Beds, towels and linens of good quality. Comfortable sturdy patio dining table and chairs. Fans in rooms, yes. Smart tv was nice to have.

Little to no lighting in parking area and stairways which makes it difficult to walk safely, especially for older folk. Main en-suite bathroom shower very small and shower doors in state of disrepair. Pedestal basins in bathrooms very low. Kitchen drying rack doesn’t hold dishes securely. Nowhere to dry pots and pans so have to wash, towel dry and pack away. Sheet on main bed was old, worn and scratchy but all other linens were of good quality.

Location and upkeep of Summer Place exceptional apart from the back garage section which needs a clean up and paint. We have been staying at Summer Place for over 40 years and now I get to take my grandchilden. The veiws from the top units fabulous. Shops and resaurants within walking distance.

The furniture on the patio far too big and heavy for the space. Back bedrooms there were no bedside tables or bedside lights. The only plug fitting in our room was not working, not repaired while we were there despite reporting the problem. No clothes horse apparently it was broken but not replaced during our stay. All the taps in the bathrooms and kitchen leaking. Bathrooms very outdated need an update. Could do with a few more kitchen utensils. Probably the most uncomfortable couches I have ever sat on. Would be a tight squeeze for 6 adults inside luckily the weather was good. Play area for kids needs an upgrade.
