Villa Dóma

We just stayed for one week at Villa Doma and are very happy to give this home a 10 star review. The villa is positioned at the top of a hill overlooking the cute port town of Chora Sfakion, from the patio you have unparalleled panoramic views of the Libyan Sea, towering epic mountain views, sunrise and sunset is absolutely stunning. The house is very clean, new and larger in person than it appears in the photographs with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a giant patio, a deep infinity pool and an upper deck. The house has everything one would need, air conditioning, kitchen appliances, laundry, dish washer, comfortable beds, nice sheets and towels. During our one week stay they had complimentary cleaning service mid week. After a day of exploring the beaches and hiking the gorges it was nice to come home to a relaxing place and cook dinner and eat dinner al fresco at the table on the patio. At night we could see the Milky Way which was magical. Lefteris the owner is very kind and responsive, he had suggestions that we never would have found ourselves, for example going to the top of Anapolis to a tiny church with the best Birds Eye view overlooking Loutro and the sea. The highlight of our trip was renting our own boat from Notos Mare and visiting the beaches of Domata, Agios Pavlos, Marmara, Loutro, Sweet Water and Ilingas. The price is reasonable and the staff are friendly. We had our favorite meals at the Taverna at Marmara and Mermaid Taverna at Sweet Water. The south western coast is not yet over developed, it is wild and rugged, we recommend to go now before it’s too late. Many thanks to Leftertis and his family for the wonderful hospitality.

The walk down to the village is not so picturesque and takes 20 minutes, back up is steep. I don't think this should deter anyone from staying at the Villa but just noting.

Un lugar extraordinario para relajarse y disfrutar en cada momento de las magníficas vistas. Alojamiento cómodo con una preciosa piscina , con gran variedad de excursiones y experiencias cercanas para conocer el sur de la isla que está menos masificado que el resto.

Second time at Villa Doma and was as excellent in all aspects as the first. The only drawback is the more people stay here the harder it will be to book... Thanks again for a great stay Lefteris.

Quel super souvenir et bon choix que de se rendre dans cette si jolie villa Doma, c'était vraiment un ravissement de chaque jour passé là-bas. Il y a tant à dire de positif que je ne sais par quoi débuter ! Pour commencer, le cadre est absolument relaxant (absence de présence humaine autour de nous, juste le bruit des chèvres et des bateaux au loin), avec néanmoins la proximité rapide de plusieurs tavernes pour se restaurer en dehors. Le confort du matelas king size de la chambre à l'étage était excellent avec 2 choix de qualité d'oreillers nous offrant cette vue sublime qui nous entoure de partout. Nous n'avons manqué de rien du tout (exemple : sel, poivre, sucre, huile, lave-vaisselle, éponge, liquide, grand réfrigérateur, four, 2 choix de cafetières, grille pain, sèche-cheveux et gel douche, shampoing, serviettes de bain qualitative 550 GR, fer et planche à repasser, aspirateur, parasol, serviettes de piscine, machine à laver, écran TV, connexion Wi-Fi, enceinte Bluetooth, etc..), il y a suffisamment de rangements et de cintres, les éclairages extérieurs sont magnifiques, nombreux choix d'éclairage à l'intérieur également, puissance des jets de douche et climatisation super efficace, stores et rideaux épais (pas d'obscurité totale pour autant), à la mi-juin l'ensoleillement de la piscine était dès le matin jusqu'à 20 h, la profondeur de la piscine est égale de partout (au cours de la semaine elle a été nettoyée une fois,tout comme le logement), la région est très belle et sauvage, louer une bonne catégorie de voiture pour les routes en serpentins s'avère être plutôt recommandable. Voilà, avec toutes ces indications j'espère vous avoir encore plus motivés à vous y rendre si à votre tour vous recherchez le bien-être et la déconnexion. Sans oublier de remercier le sympathique Lefteris, qui a mis tout en oeuvre pour faire de cet endroit un vrai petit paradis, merci pour sa disponibilté et son professionnalisme.
