The house was as lovely as it looked in the photos It was clean and comfy. It was the perfect location to stay to explore Boothbay and the surrounding areas.

We were in town to go to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens to see the Thomas Dambo trolls, go on the eastwind schooner sunset cruise, go on the cabbage island clam bake, and eat as many lobster rolls possible lol We were able to do all of that. The home was a perfect location to everywhere we had to go too.My only complaint was the upstairs bathroom modern open shower and the floormat that is not a typical bathroom floormat (I let the owner know and they said they would fix this asap). The last day we were there, as I was stepping out of the shower, the mat slipped from under me and I slipped and fell. A FOOSH Injury (Falling On Out Stretched Hand). Luckily nothing is broken, but I'm currently still dealing with pain from the fall 10 days later. :(

The setup of the place was different than what we are used too. It was explained on the site, but I didn't see it at the time when I reserved it.
