The shower was amazing, really good pressure and super hot! A real luxury in Peru

The location was perfect. It's walking distance to to all the tourist areas and restaurants. They service breakfast at 5:30 AM at an extra cost. This was convenient on days we had to wake up early for tours.
There is no heating in the room and during the dry season, the room becomes extremely cold at night. Temperatures dropped into the 20s (Fahrenheit), and there were cracks that allowed cold air to enter, making the room poorly insulated and uncomfortable. When I raised the issue, I was offered a small heater for an additional cost, but it barely worked. I eventually had to purchase my own heater. Being from Florida and not accustomed to the cold, this was a big problem for me.
The shower water was also cold, and combined with the low room temperature, it made showering difficult. Additionally, there are 54 steps leading up to the hotel. This wasn’t a problem for us, but it should be mentioned for guests with mobility concerns. It
