The unit was well located in Edge Hill; it was clean and modern looking. The unit has a good clothes washer and dryer. It has a good iron. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything you need to cook meals including good cutlery. The Aircond and fan worked well. They have a good security door. The units were quiet regarding the other residents. The free , private carpark was easy to get into and no trouble parking at all. There was a good flat screen TV and a wifi router in the room. We asked the hosts to replace the old ironing board cover and kitchen sink plug which they did very promptly without question. Their communications were excellent via texting on my phone. We liked the balcony and a drying rack which we used every day to dry clothes we had washed. Plenty of consumables were provided in the kitchen for cleaning and rubbish disposal. There was a modern coffee machine also which I didn't use.

The shower cubicle has a wall mounted soap dish tile that had been somehow smashed and inexpertly glued back on unsuccessfully. It was still sharp and could cut your fingers. A new one should be installed by a tiler. The kitchen cold water tap has a very loud water hammer when turning it on. A decent plumber can fix that. We avoided using it due to this. Although the rest of the unit was very clean, we found long black hairs on the bed quilt and in the bathroom. The kitchen window should have a curtain on it to stop the light from the security light outside coming into the room at night.
