Its position, layout, generous size, comfort and facilities. A comfortable bed with the bedding adjusted for the heat wave we were experiencing. A comfortable lounge area with a good TV. A thoughtfully provided hairdryer and a good sized mirror. I didn’t cook but it would have been easy with good kitchen facilities. Advisable though to bring a tea towel and dishcloth/surface cleaning cloth.
Although the bathroom was spotless the kitchen worktops were sticky and the upstands needed cleaning. The drinks mugs too needed a better wash. Although I only had tea and cereal for breakfast, no cooking, I cleaned the surfaces as best possible with the sponge/scourer and washing up liquid that were available, so it was better but not perfect when I left.
